If you are applying for a Fence permit, the following documents must be uploaded with your application:
- Site plan (must show the property boundaries/lot lines, any easements and all existing structures on the property and the proposed location of the fence.
- Fence Detail (must show height of fence, width of panels and posts size, type of material and method of connection to any structure).
Homeowners constructing your own fence, will need to include the following documents along with the fence detail and site plan:
- Homeowners Affidavit – must be signed and notarized
- Proof of Ownership (tax documents, copy of deed, etc.)
- Owner’s Driver’s License (or valid state issued identification card)
Homeowners hiring a Contractor to construct your fence, will need to include the following documents along with your fence detail and site plan:
- Fence Contractor’s Information: include contractor information on application and upload a copy of the company's business License and photo identification
- Proof of Ownership (tax documents, copy of deed, etc.)
- Owner’s Driver’s License (or valid state issued identification card)
- Authorized Permit Agent Form (this form gives you permission to apply for the permit on behalf of the contractor).
Contractors applying for permits will need to submit the following information along with the fence detail and site plan:
- A copy of Business License
- Driver’s License (or valid state issued identification card)
