PITKIN COUNTY ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Building Dept will be attending the annual International Code Council Education Institute 
The Building Dept will be closed and Inspections will not occur for the week of March 3rd - 7th 2025

No Electrical Inspection from March 24 - 31 st

• No Electrical Inspections will occur on any Friday to prioritize electrical permit plan review.
• On August 1, 2023, the 2023 edition of NFPA 70 National Electric Code (NEC) will be adopted by the State of Colorado and enforced by Pitkin County. The 2023 NEC will become the minimum standard for electrical permits issued on or after August 1, 2023. Any permit applications submitted for review prior to August 1, 2023 will be reviewed under the 2020 NEC. Any permit applications submitted for review on or after August 1, 2023, will be reviewed under the 2023 NEC.
