JEA ANNOUNCEMENTS

Use the new feature "Next Steps - Any Project" to see all the steps associated with completing your project including Process Status, Due Date, and Days in Status.  This feature is to help guide you through your project with links to each process.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 30, JEA payments made with a credit or debit card through jea.com or our automated phone system (IVR) will be subject to a vendor service fee. This fee will be a pass-through cost charged by JEA’s payment processing vendor, Kubra. 

With vendor service fees rising, we want to ensure we’re fair to all customers, no matter their choice of payment. This change allows for more equitable cost distribution among customers choosing to pay with a card vs. a fee-free payment method. 

The vendor service fee will vary depending on the customer’s credit or debit card payment amount.  The new fee structure is:

In your Plan Submittal/Infill Layout Approval email notifications as well as in your residential/commercial/multi-family new service application Completion email notifications you will see a survey for you to provide feedback to JEA on your customer experience through the JEA Development process in Sages.  Please take the time to complete the survey as your feedback will help drive future improvements.  

Availability requests are not needed for residential irrigation requests.

Registration:

• Anyone requiring access to the SagesGov Electronic Plan Review system must register for an account by clicking the following link https://www.sagesgov.com/jea-fl/portal/register.aspx
• Architects, Builders, Engineers & Contractors must first Register new account  for their Company. They are required to list an account administrator as part of the registration process; once approved they can add additional users from their company under their account.
• Persons who submit projects for a company should be setup as users under the company by the Administrator and SHOULD NOT register for a separate accounts. 
• Independent Engineers, Design Professionals etc. may have their own Company/Firm Account or Individual User Account in SagesGov.

New Submission: 

• To Start a New Submission click the Tile on the "Home” tab and follow the steps to complete your new Submission. SagesGov has built in applications with mandatory fields that you must complete in order to submit a project.  The next step is to upload your PDF plans and drawings. Each drawing or document is setup in the system and will require selecting the appropriate file type to upload. You will receive an email upon successful submission.

Re-Submission:

• You will receive notification upon completion of each Review Cycle with Comments (if any). To Re-submit Drawings (optional) or other required documents, click on the Project from the Worklist Tab and follow the steps to complete your Re-Submission. Please do not click the Tile on the Home Tab for Re-Submission as it will start a new project application / submission.

When your submittal has been rejected or disapproved by JEA, you respond to that item.

DO NOT create a new item by selecting the tiles.

Go back into the original request by accessing your worklist.
