Submit a New Application

Please note the following information for online submittals: 

• Business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. All account requests or applications submitted after business hours, will be reviewed on the following business day.
• Monitor your email as detailed information about your project will be sent to the email address on file.
• Applications received after 4:30p.m. will be reviewed for intake on the following business day.
• If you have further questions or concerns, please contact the Permitting and Occupational Tax Division at 706.883.2060.

• Homeowner’s Affidavit
• Authorized Permit Agent Form
• Temporary Power Affidavit
• S.A.V.E Affidavit - Only for renewals if not a U.S. citizen, or if something has changed. Required for all new license applications.
• Private Employer Affidavit
• Property Owner's Authorization
• Update Occupational Tax Registration Form

Please monitor your account for the status of your project. Click on your project to view the review due date, review status and fees due. This information is available online 24 hours a day.

Once your project has been submitted, please monitor your email, as Sages will send all communications to your email address on file. You will be notified when your project has been: •

• Accepted for Intake
• Additional Files are Requested (additional information may be needed to accept the intake of your application)
• Fees are Due

If you are an existing business and you are unable to locate your company name. Below may be the potential reasons.

• Business is delinquent (occupational tax renewal is past due for one year or more)
• If you are unable to locate your company name on the Business License Selector, drop down on the application form,
  please start a new Occupational Tax Information & Business Registration application from the Home tab. 

If you are a new business having difficulty entering your address in SagesGov.

• Make sure to separate the street name from the street type (road, drive etc..)

If you receive an error message “Address not found in City of Lagrange’s Jurisdiction”.

• Please call 706-883-2060 City of LaGrange Permits office

• Anyone requiring access to the SagesGov electronic permitting system must register for an account by clicking the following link: https://www.sagesgov.com/lagrange-ga
• Architects, Builders, Engineers & Contractors must first Register a new account for their Company. They are required to list an account administrator as part of the registration process; once approved they can add additional users from their company under their account.
• Persons who submit projects for a company should be setup as users under the company by the Administrator and SHOULD NOT register for a separate accounts.
• Independent Engineers, Design Professionals etc. may have their own Company/Firm Account or Individual User Account in SagesGov.
• Accounts are reviewed for approval during normal business hours, Monday - Friday from 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

• If you need to resubmit your application, please do not create a new application. Go to your worklist, Click on the project and follow the prompts for resubmitting.
• If you are in need of submitting a revision, your review cycle must be completed prior to the system allowing you to resubmit your project. Please allow for all review departments to complete their review prior to submitting a revision.
